the bricks of city hall
hide it from the west
very far from a Stoneys
or even an IHOP
in fact, if you're not looking
for adventure on the go
might have missed this little place
of cultures far removed
yellow are the walls
textured of course
as if in an alley of Salonika
or in Italy near Paloma
this Cafe' gives us pleasure
just sitting with a stare
no, it isn't normal
to enjoy such atmosphere
enjoy we do, so very much
but then the treat comes out
after the food you are amazed
at Nick's gentle questions
are you happy with your food?
Are we treating you right?
Do you have any new requests?
Is there anything more we might do?
Can I give you what else you want?
if so, I'd be happy
to brighten up your day
and make your lunch a feast
he sings in the kitchen
songs of old homelands
then smiles as it make him glad
to serve customers food which
he made with his hands
